One of my primary sources is an experience I had when I accidentally bit a snake. This caused my skin to peel on my palm, a condition known as “napa-akan ko ug sawa.” The peeling likely happened due to the friction and irritation from the bite, and the affected area was painful, tender, and slightly raw for a short time. I treated it by cleaning the area with mild soap and applying ointment to prevent infection. This event is meaningful because it reminds me of a moment when I faced both fear and pain, and it shows how careful attention and care can help us heal. It is a primary source because it is a firsthand record of my personal experience at that specific time, reflecting my reaction, feelings, and how I managed the situation.

CULTURAL MAP OF MY HOMETOWN

"THE UNIQUENESS OF MY HOMETOWN" By: Angelito Mandaguit Blasco                               Guihulngan City is a beautiful coastal city located in the northern part of Negros Oriental , Philippines. Known for its rich history, natural wonders, and warm-hearted people , Guihulngan combines the charm of the countryside with the promise of progress.  The name “Guihulngan” is said to have originated from the word “hulog,” meaning “to fall,” based on a local legend where people and a bell were believed to have fallen into the sea; thus, “Guihulngan” means  “the place where something fell.”            Also, Guihulngan City in Negros Oriental is a wonderful and beautiful place. The "wonderful" aspects of Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, include the Hinakpan Hills, ARVOR Cave, Kansalakan Enchanted River, and Kinayan Plains. These are some wondrous places in my ho...

MY FAMILY HERITAGE

Image
FAMILY            This is my family, and they are very important to me. I have an older sister named Marellyn Blasco and an older brother named Junrey Blasco. The eldest among us siblings is my sister, Amabelle Blasco, who guides us with her experience and advice. At the head of our family is my father, Manuel Blasco, who works hard and sets a good example for us. Each member of my family has a unique role, and together they give me strength, support, and love that help me grow as a person.           These are my cousins, the children of my grandfather on my mother’s side: John, Nicolas, and Ariel. They are not only my relatives but also my friends, and we share many memories together. Growing up with them has taught me the value of family bonds and the joy of having people who treat you like brothers even though they are not your siblings. Whenever we gather as a family, my cousins and I enjoy spending time together, helping o...
