One of my primary sources is an experience I had when I accidentally bit a snake. This caused my skin to peel on my palm, a condition known as “napa-akan ko ug sawa.” The peeling likely happened due to the friction and irritation from the bite, and the affected area was painful, tender, and slightly raw for a short time. I treated it by cleaning the area with mild soap and applying ointment to prevent infection. This event is meaningful because it reminds me of a moment when I faced both fear and pain, and it shows how careful attention and care can help us heal. It is a primary source because it is a firsthand record of my personal experience at that specific time, reflecting my reaction, feelings, and how I managed the situation.
